To the OP- I find it very strange that YOU are offended lol? Well my dogs are waking people up at 5 am and they have the nerve to be upset and write me a note??!? HOW DARE THEM!! Idiot. If you can't figure that part out on your own I don't see a reasonable resolution to this problem being reached, hope your neighbors dont start slipping them poison

...I'm a dog owner FWIW. That neighbor has every right to bitch. I'm up by that time almost every morning and would still be annoyed if I heard a dog barking obnoxiously.

At least she left a note. One of my wife's friends got a formal letter from the city after one of her neighbors simply reported the dogs without trying to deal with it in person.

I used to live in a duplex, and our neighbor would put her three weenie dogs outside at 1 AM so she could study or some shite. I'm a heavy sleeper when it comes to dogs barking (my dog would constantly bark inside, but you couldn't hear it out of the house), but it would wake my roomie up. Finally, my roomie took a week long vacation and I put my bass amp against the wall and played Enter Sandman for irony's sake. She immediately slammed on my door and asked me if I was insane. I felt the need to inform her that I am technically insane, but this will happen until she shuts her dogs up.
Long story short, those dogs were never outside after 10 PM again.
