This whole 'smart cities' debacle going on is a pretty bad look for Cantrell too
Tune into the council today

I saw 2 aides are being held in contempt...more to come?

Not sure what will come out today, if anything, but Moreno and JP haven't been holding back on exposing the paper trails. It is on the schedule though.
The contempt is probably stems from them not wanting to show up.
Not sure what role the inspector general will play or if he has a bias. Cantrell seems to want the inspector general to audit instead of the council.

Damn
Nvm. But people should still be concerned about the number of murders, the rapid increases recently, and general lawlessness of the city. The trend lines are not good. The garbage issue alone is insane. You’re lucky if it gets picked up once a month downtown!

New Orleans was never 990k in the city. The most was in 1960 at just over 600k.

You’re right and I guess I’m lucky uptown. I have had zero garbage issues. Twice a week pick up like clockwork.

I have heard that the city sucks if you are poor. If you have the means to live above you are fine.

I'm not sure what you're trying to say, but it seems like you don't know that Cancun has a higher murder rate than New Orleans. LINK
That looks likw 2018. Current numbers appear almost identical in the rates between the two based on what I found (see my links on the preceding page).
Of course, who knows how Cancun gets its numbers?

You have even less credibility than Draconian Sanctions. Before the term groomer entered into American discourse, you were ranting about how children were moving more left and there was nothing we as parents could do about it.

It was in the Koy Moore thread on tRant after he lied about his interaction with police.

The issues in New Orleans are real, but if you can’t tell when a political commentator is hamming things up to score points I don’t know what to tell you other than you’re just not that bright.
I get what you're saying, but there's no way I'd ever go to New Orleans now. I live in a suburb of NO. My girlfriend (out of town) is coming in next week, and I told her we will NOT step foot in that city - for her and our protection.

Don't most societies steadily progress left until they collapse?

Well, the by-line said, "50 most dangerous cities in the world 2022 (list and photos) Friday, April 01, 2022"
But let's be honest, not only does it still render his post kind of dumb, but in the context of New Orleans, Cancun, Baton Rouge and Shreveport, put them all in a hat, and I don't want to live in any of them. They're ALL murderous.
murder rate per 100k:
Baton Rouge, 32
Cancun = New Orleans, 37
Shreveport, 38
But the murder rate for Mogadishu is reported at 1.5 per 100k. LINK

Just going to say you might want to reevaluate your google terms.
Do you think 1970 New Orleans population was too complicated for the folks at Google?
