I’m trying to argue that to the city bc they’re holding my tax dollars. My homestead exemption wasn’t applied timely.

I guess I’ll see that money after toya’s out of office.

Exactly. It'll largely be the exact same demographic as South Market District. Yuppies and professionals who want to be close to the CBD/FQ/GD for work, the city vibe, nightlife, sports venues etc. Its not unemployed baby mama of four out of control kids as some on here might have you believe.

They said affordable income, not low income.

If, and I mean if, they send you refund instructions do that shite immediately.

My exemption was all fricked. I applied in early December 2019 knowing it would be sketchy. Of course I missed the deadline so it needed a revision. Had to pay the full tax amount sans exemption knowing I would get the difference refunded. Then the computer hacker shite happened. Sometime near June I got a letter saying the homestead exemption would be applied and they were going to forward instructions on how to apply for the refund via the state.

FFW to September or so and I got a piece of mail in saying I had 14 days from the date of the letter to apply...the mail arrive 16 days after the letter was sent. So I could no longer apply for the refund and it would be pushed forward to my taxes due Jan 2021 (this year).

Now the property taxes are delayed and my escrow apparently doesn't see the tax refund, so I get to have a long frick you argument in the coming weeks with someone.

Is there any question that the sewage system can handle the additional capacity, or are they planning to pipe it straight into the Mississippi River?

If they don't repave, there's a pretty big one here

This is true. I’ve blown a tire at the one at Race and Tchoup.

Something about the people in this picture is off for me being it is in New Orleans. I just can’t quite put my finger on it though.

Wouldn't that location be on the proposed extended Riverfront / Convention Center line? Those are red streetcars.

I’ve been told in confidence that the timeline for completion coincides the rebuilding of the Jazzland Themepark.

Maybe so. That streetcar line would need some serious modification to make it to where that streetcar is shown though.

Maybe the plan is to turn it down Henderson then back down Convention Center Blvd
