That’s why most malls are flat and you have to walk outside. They need to have it all day. These hood rats are treating the mall like a baby sitting service

Wow, things must have got pretty bad for them to implement this.
It's a last gasp of air for the mall owners. They can tell their paying customers are staying away and shopping elsewhere.
it won't work.

quote:At what point will the department stores go belly up? JCPenney/Dillard/Belk, etc have to be bleeding money in their brick & mortar stores, especially the ones located in enclosed shopping malls. Even places like Footlocker, Champs, Victoria's Secret, Spencer Gifts, Lids, Rainbow, the national tenants who still choose to rent in enclosed malls have to be hurting financially.

Are they also going to post security at the department store entrances? That’s a lot of area to cover.
Seems like the end is near for the mall, I don’t see it lasting more than a couple of more years.

You are not allowed to show those kings and queens in a negative light here regardless of what they did. That’s what I’m being told on every Angel Reese thread.

A lot of people in this thread are bitching about this, but they also bitch about those groups of teens acting like hoodlums in the malls because their parents didn't raise them to behave better. People aren't going to malls any longer, at least in part, because of those little shits.
You can either have a safer mall (for as long as it lasts) or you can have what Cortana degenerated into happen faster with Mall of La.
There's no 3rd option.

City Annexed it illegally. St. G will tell them to keep it, buy it back for pennies when it is abandoned.

Can these parents accompany their children at school?

I’ve not been to these new concept Dick’s Sporting Goods. I know it’s like a regular DSG but also with their golf and boating stores under one roof?
So basically like a Bass Pro?
More like a juiced up Academy but more golf/team sports focused. No hunting stuff, nice fishing/camping/boating section.

have little faith that they will be checking IDs once inside the mall.
Lakeside does. They don’t frick around. Owners of that property understand their clientele is going to leave if they have issues with unsupervised youths.

The mall needs turn into a membership situation like Costco or Sam's. Build a giant gate around it and make people show their ID to even drive into the parking lot. Would improve the place a ton.
