You might want to see a marriage counselor instead. My marriage has lasted 50 years. About that time in my marriage my wife had a hormonal shift and she acted like she hated me. My kids told me that she was telling them it is over. I told them that they shouldn't worry. She went and changed her meds and snapped out of it. Sometimes things go sideways. Try to work things out.

Yeah I’m never getting married after reading that.

Sorry to hear that though…

Weird that they make it top 3 when they could just say “the woman”

serious advice, you've got to, starting right now, remove the emotions and treat this like a dissolution of a business agreement because that's pretty much what it is at this point, a lot won't seem fair, you will be asked to pay for more than your share, just remove yourself from the pettiness and let your attorney do the talkng, with your input beforehand of course

Best advice

There's many more like this...as long as no one has filed.....sky's the limit

Anyone on here saying different, please please please prove your point. If its community and spent during marriage, there's no recourse

Tremendous retort. Will read again with all your experience of how the law works. Community spending during marriage is exempt for the most part.
2 years from now, your wife can't file and say you owe her half of what you spent on a duck lease....right?
So feel free to be dumb

C’mon..you don’t need a forensic accountant. Just look at your bank statements. Now, if you want to pay a bean counter 50 grand to confirm the bitch stole money, then feel free.

Don’t understand how this happens after 34 years, but praying there can be reconciliation. Marriage is a sacrament symbolizing the love of Christ and the church. All good thoughts in this time.

Not AFTER the filing happens. Before? Its his money. He can spend whatever. Its not calculated by court until formal filing happens, from that day on, a snapshot of finances happens and all is figured from there.

If he would happen to pay a friend, say 40k for an all inclusive deer hunt to his ranch (wink wink), there is zero she could do. That 40k would NOT be part of the estate value, as long as filing hasn't happened.
Later, friend returns him his cash.

Dude, you were telling him to commit fraud and that will be held against you to an extreme degree during the litigation when they discover it.
