If you removed water from one bowl to make ice in another, what would the level in the non iced bowl be? That’s a much better analogy than your water bottle.
What different bowl are you talking about. The water is all on earth.
You realize that when you see ice floating it occupies much more space underwater than above it right?
Now that we are on a new page I shouldn't confuse anyone. I was simply referring to the drink/water bottle analogy.
The ice age in the OP would not result in the polar caps growing as it would be localized to north Europe.

That movie was entertaining but could be taught as a case study in left wing Hollywood propaganda. Climate scientist that drives shitty Prius tries to warn scary Republican politician about climate change. They ignore him and disaster ensues. Street savvy homeless guy with a heart of gold and super smart Ivy League students survive. Had to burn books to survive which presented moral dilemma. In the end we were fortunate that our gracious Mexican brothers opened their border and allowed us to come down there to survive.
Fantastic.
Fantastic.

an Ice age in Europe and sea-level rise in cities such as Boston and New York
That doesn’t compute
It would if Europe is colder because of the warm current moving somewhere else. The rest of the ocean heating up while Europe experiences colder weather would cause this.
Edit: although I think it is stupid af that they would call this an "ice age".
Ice age should be reserved for when the entire planet is cooling. Enough so that the polar ice caps are expanding.

If the warm water shifts south, away from the poles, this will result in more polar ice, lowering ocean levels everywhere.

It would trigger the collapse of the oceanic conveyor system and it would be a world wide ice age
I can’t imagine being dumb enough to believe this. You do you though.

I'm noticing a pattern:
The only idiots who are buying into this continued climate farce are also the same ones that think men can have babies and kids are sex objects.
No doubt that Dawg poster will be here soon to let everyone know this science is settled too.

This seems correct but these systems are also very complicated. I found a article from Irish times in 2021 discussing how the current was weakening
Irish article 2021
This article is also way less doom and gloom than cnn

The “Meteorological scientists” right before coming up with their next climate fear porn:

If you want to understand why there's such a strong "scientific" consensus on climate change, note that this study is now worldwide news. The authors are going to get attention, citations, grants, tenure. Scientists who question climate change get called "deniers" like they're Nazis, and possibly deplatformed or fired.

Where is spandex wearing Lance Armstrong wannabe cycling boy at today to apologize for climate change

This has been common knowledge to scientists for a long time. We have literal proof the studies denying it were planned by fossil fuel companies.
It was revealed that Exxon mobile knew global warming was real in the 1970s but still spent a lot of money denying it publicly and funding studies to disprove it.

Is the answer more taxes and eating bugs? No.
The science is solid, it's the money grab government policies that are the problem

I’d welcome a permanent ice age after this miserable summer.

Just like there was supposed to be no more glaciers remaining by 2012 and Miami Beach would be under water

Yep. This CNN article is bullshite. The scientific concensus is the current will weaken 34 to 45 percent by 2100, not collapse by 2050.
