News: two passengers listed on manifest were not on plane. Probably indicates stolen passports for these two.

Don't planes have tracking devices on them or something? [Genuine question.] How does a plane simply disappear? Even if it blew up or crashed, wouldn't they know the last known location before explosion/crash/terrorist/whatever?
I'm sure there's a lot of information that isn't being released to the general public right now.

The plane flew to space. They're probably near the moon right now.

The limited release of information speaks volumes.

Perhaps if the fall was rapid enough maybe they would blackout or at least get so disoriented that they would it be "all there" on the way down.
Worst of all there were 3 babies on there.

would it
Couldn't help it.

lose NOT loose. How can people confuse these two?
BTW, all those people saying malfunctions don't bring down planes from cruising altitude. Review that disaster a few years back off South America where they went in from 30,000 plus feet. That was some weird combo of malfunction followed by massive pilot error.

I thought the pilots turned off the de-icer in a heavy storm at high altitude? Wings iced up and they didn't recognize a stall.
Most modern crashes are human error.

It says they don't have a clue what happened or where this plane is. Disappeared into thin air.
Posted on 3/8/14 at 4:17 pm to redstick13
That's mostly correct except the warning probe for the wing icing failed because it froze. They then went into a stall and did all the wrong things to recover. Can't imagine having to ride it in from that high. Breaking up would be so much better.

Or does it say that they are hiding something, or trying to come up with a story?

If this was the case, don't you think they would have a story ready to go?

Remember this response for when the conspiracy folks start with their shite.
Go start a rumor on the PT board that there were two "international" bankers or someone involved with bitcoin on board.
As of now, I would think if it were terror related, someone would have claimed responsibility.

Someone obviously used an unapproved wireless device, or was standing up when the fasten seat belt sign was on.

Would there just be an oil slick or would you see any debris? I guess a plane going down from that altitude and the potential currents in the ocean could just suck all debris under. It's going to take a deepwater submersible to find that thing.

Is it almost daylight over there by now?

You'd have a debris field. The size of which would tell you if the aircraft broke apart in the air or on impact.

You would think some jack-leg terrorist group would claim responsibility just to get their name out there.
