I appreciate that the thread is directed to OT poors, but the flowers aren't the only thing she gets

I will be like every other man, I will wait until morning of, go to Wal-Mart at 7 AM get flowers, card etc..

I don't think that's as universal an experience as you think it is...

This is how I feel about going to dinner for Valentine's Day. I'm not some anti-Valentine person (actually find these people just as cringe as those who go crazy for Valentine's Day), but going out to dinner when everyone in town is there at the same time is the opposite of fun to me.

We have nice dinners out plenty often enough anyway. It's just what we enjoy to do on weekends (and every other Monday). I usually cook something fun on the 14th, but doubt we even do that this year because Mardi Gras.

Maybe something is wrong with me. But I don’t want flowers on Valentine’s Day. I’m happy with grocery store flowers if given any. Maybe I’m odd, but my person treats me right year around, I don’t need a commercial day and would rather not spend or receive extra bc I’m “supposed to.”

We never go out day of for that reason. We likewise go out to eat all the time and don't feel like being surrounded by people who clearly don't

We are talking about Thursday the 12th this year due to various scheduling issues.

Zero.

Sometimes I buy her a rose bush which she enjoys more than a bouquet of flowers.

After 38 years, she understands

My coworker got her florists license and she does some beautifully artistic arrangements.

They should do edible arrangements but made out of meat.

You called me a cuck for not solely getting my wife flowers. Did I miss some nuance on that, or are you just retarded?

My wife doesn't like flowers but she loves being the center of attention at her work so we have a rule that if Valentine's falls on a weekend, I don't need to buy her anything.
