More to come. My father's collection. Wish I knew more details on many of them.

I think her right hand/forearm is holding the bottle and tucked between her body and his.

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines stewardess displays her AR-10 rifle and parka. Two parts of over 150 pieces of polar survival gear issued to commercial aircrews that flew over the north pole to reach Asia from America and Europe. The rifle was intended to defend against polar bear attacks. 1959.
Did any over the pole flights ever crash there? Seems like the perfect plot for a '70s disaster TV movie:
"Desperation On The Ice. Starring Robert Fuller as the crippled pilot and Karen Valentine as the rookie stewardess who must fly them all to safety!"

I remember that type of game. A lot more fun and realistic than electric football...
Also looks like the players at the bottom are the "original six" of the NHL, l-r: Chicago Blackhawks, Montreal Canadiens, New York Rangers, Boston Bruins, Detroit Red Wings, Toronto Maple Leafs.

they put polar suits on our jets for polar flights, even give us a class on how to use them, first time I went to that class and it was my turn to put it I said no thanks, I don’t need to know how to use it

Mr. Personality (2003). A single woman, Hayley Arp, had to choose a suitor from 20 men whose faces were entirely hidden by latex masks. The goal was for her to select a partner based solely on their personality rather than physical appearance, The series was hosted by Monica Lewinsky

Fond memories of this place. My honeymoon destination in 1961, believe it or not.
Is that on Pensacola Beach?

I remember when you could use your Texaco gas card to get rooms at Holiday Inn

No idea. If I could read the rail line name on the tender it would be a clue.

Photograph of two U.S. soldiers with dozens of pieces of art stolen by Hermann Göring (1893-1946), found in a cave in Schönau am Königsee (Germany), World War II (1945).

The first credit card I recall my parents having was a Mr. Bol much like this one...
When I was a kid, there were no ATM machines. I distinctly remember my parents going to the bank and waiting in a long line on Friday afternoons to get cash for the weekend.
