<——Went to Ol’ Diz’s funeral in Bond, MS (near Wiggins). I was 12 years-old. Shook hands with and talked to Bear Bryant there. The old man (at age 22 or so) played Freshman ball for him at UK. Coach Bryant acted like he remembered him from then, which was nice.

Got elected to the HOF in 1953:

Would give anything to hear Dizzy Dean and PeeWee Reese call the "Baseball Game of the Week", (brought to you by Falstaff) one more time...they were the best!

Ama Reville is served Fettuccine Alfredo by its creator, Alfredo di Lelio, in Rome c. 1952. Reville’s husband Alfred Hitchcock looks on.

My grandfather with Dizzy at a local bar in Beaumont, TX, in 1955. No idea why Dizzy was in Beaumont, but my grandfather always spoke fondly of him.

My two door 1969 Chrysler 300 convertible is about an inch short of being 19 feet long.

It has a huge full size trunk.

Did your grandfather do anything with Falstaff Beer? I see he has one in his hand. Dean was a Falstaff spokesman back in the day. My grandfather and dad had a Falstaff distributorship, they had many pics with Dean as well,,,
