Now they just have to find out the minimum bribe it takes to get people to take the mark of the beast.

"Eager" is probably the key word there. The sheep were eager and have already gotten it. Now is the time for people who aren't concerned about the virus but acknowledge it's real and should be taken seriously to some extent. Also the people who aren't taken in by the panic but who would rather not be legally cancelled by corporations and governments by not having their immune card.

I fully understand that the panic and propaganda have been ridiculous, but that doesnt make getting the vaccine a bad idea. shite, the only reason it has been rolled out so successfully is due to the logistics and planning under the Trump admin in late 2020.

I honestly don't care if you get the vaccine or not. I think it's a wise thing to do if you are around vulnerable people or if you are a high risk yourself.

And I'm okay with businesses having their own requirements.

But it should not be forced. It's your body. It's your choice.

Agreed. Everyone now has had the opportunity to get at least partially vaccinated and by the end of this month you will have been fully vaccinated if you want it. If you die from Covid and refused to get the vaccine, it’s sad but not my problem.

And if you are one of this fools that think the mRNA vaccine "alters your DNA", you should either consider it an opportunity.....or get the J&J vaccine.....or just not get vaccinated at all.

far short of the level experts say is required for the kind of lasting population-wide protection known as herd immunity.

That'll be a moving goalpost target until the end.

I got the Pfizer because that's what was available. No major issues at all. Getting excellent 5G reception. I have this weird preference for Microsoft products that I didn't have before. And I get signal bursts in my car when the AM radio is on.

But I'm still okay.

If we have surplus supplies, I think we should send them to India and our allies. Pretty much everyone who needs them except China. They can go frick themselves.

This is a side note, but I used to be very excited about the concept of Technological Singularity being able to live forever even if I was terrified it’d turn on us. Now I’m just convinced the moment I’d upload myself they’d simply turn me into the Borg.

Cool. I’m not vaccinated and won’t be. I’ve also been living a normal life without being a sheep and rushing to get an experimental vaccine injected into me.

You do you, bud. I’m a libertarian and think you should have every right to do what you’re doing.

Well as of today I can go to the Bahamas without having to test because I’m vaccinated.....so there’s that.

And I’m sure the rest of the islands will follow soon
