My wife's was 2 years expired before I renewed it last weekend and she drives through that intersection daily

What's the reasoning for not offering a 2 year?
Annual emission testing.

how do lesser humans get stickers? can you purchase a week's worth of auto insurance just to get the sticker?

At least those fatasses are getting exercise instead of eating doughnuts together at a B Quik.

can someone explain to me how taxing the middle-upper class in that area is a better use of resources than camping them out in NBR and bringing down the crime?

Is it that way for every state?

No. It's parish by parish in LA even.

Middle class people pay their fines.

Good, they should be checking insurance too.

This is bullshite. My sticker expires this month, and I’ve tried four times to get a new one. Each time, they’ve been unable to do it because the state system is down, and they can only do 25 offline and had run out. One time, I had waited 45 minutes at Benny’s before being told to go home.

Nope, the 5 parish area around BR.
And for your insurance question, the inspection stations don't verify your insurance they just ask for your proof of insurance.

It’s not, but BRPD is the one that deals with the real shite parts of the city.

Pretty much. They get a 6 month or yearly policy and pay the first month and quit afterwards.

They were on the corner of Jones Creek and Coursey this morning just before 8:00 AM

I'm all for insurance checks, but when was the last time residents of Louisiana saw a decrease in their premiums because of inspection sticker checkpoint that lead to an insurance check?

Meanwhile, right down the road, somone on the interstate is cooking it at 90 to 100 plus, bobbing and weaving through traffic like butter and never have I seen anyone pull them over. I suppose it’s either two things. Either there’s a bunch of gingerbread man out there that nobody can catch, or maybe the cops are too busy collecting taxes to be concerned with actual real life public safety.

I saw that dude earlier. I thought he might have a death wish. He was right in between lanes in the fricking road where the lane shift is on Bluebonnet with traffic barreling down on him.
I'm gonna go pass by him and wave with my shiny new inspection sticker.

EBRSO taking a bite out a BR crime.
I feel so much safer.

If they won't carry insurance, I doubt they bother paying the ticket for not having it.
Son got backed into by one of those last summer. No license, no insurance. All the insurance laws in the world didn't pay for fixing his truck.
