Juneau AK is the only state capital that can't be reached via a road. There are no roads into Juneau. It can only be reached by air or sea.

The Aral Sea in central Asia was the 4th largest lake in the world.

Some people have mentioned examples of enclaves. Liberty Island belongs to New York but sits completely in New Jersey waters.

Probably already mentioned, but the northern border of California is further north than the most southern part of Canada.
