One of my favorite OT threads every year. Even those of you outside of NO should enjoy this.

You forgot "She is a graduate of Tulane University" and
"His father was very rich" and "His wife is a total count"

Big night tonight, can not wait. I will have an Ojen cocktail in hand, watching our favorite debutants from the best ACC schools, and Bama of course. Dancing heads, and Errol and Peggy to boot, this is living boys and girls

When one door closes, another opens. I foresee the TulaneLSU Mardi Gras Guide on shelves in 2027.

I am looking at the sponsors on the youtube page. Who is Arthur Gallagher? Is he related to Frank Gallagher?

New Orleans has a special culture and unique traditions all its own.

To those of us from other areas of the country, it's very fascinating to observe these traditions, which are worthy of respect due to their tenure.

Younger me would have tried to stroll in this thread and try to make some clever remark attempting to shite on this event and those who look forward to it.

But I hope all y'all enjoy this spectacle and its pageantry in all its glory this evening.

Happy Mardi Gras

In.

Will Errol have another coughing fit all night? Will Peggy keep ignoring him if he does?

Will the streak of nobody tripping over a gown stay alive?

Will the Queen of Comus be hotter than the Queen of Carnival again?

Can the pages stay awake?

All this, and more, tonight on WYES.

Rex: “here’s us!”

Comus walks in: “Eye’s Wide Shut 2 will be in the next room”

I fricking love watching the Rex Ball and making fun of the inbred gentry. It's a family tradition.

Shia LaBeouf would become a legend if he crashes the party.

I can assure you, even people who ride in Rex laugh a little bit at the display you’re about to see tonight.

So does even the float riders in Rex have to attended this after riding today? I’m not familiar with how Rex does it. We do things a little different in Houma.

I hate that the teachings from, ' The Lottery', have been removed. Even simpletons could understand it.
