Doesn’t sound like a whole lot... maybe they can trace the bitcoin requestor.
If I did a naughty, I'd burn the gloves, I think.

Grammar police coming in hot once again. My mistake. Could have*. Glad you have a purpose in life and can call out a typing error.

That's not a typo.
That's a lack of knowledge of English.

These LEOs aren’t going to solve this. Nancy is dead - probably across the border. And the killer probably is too.
I still think my original theory of a cartel kidnapping for ransom is what happened. Thought she was a mom of a famous rich American and they’d make a couple million of the work.
But she died so they just dumped her and moved on to the next operation. It’s just business to them.

That moron on the camera is in no way a cartel kidnapper. Dude is a moron.
Also, no way the cartel just drops gloves a mile away from the crime scene.
Everything seems like a ruse at this point.

In one of the frames from the doorbell footage they hold up some jumble of stuff. What is that? Can’t tell looks like tiny lights or a plant?

The moron goes out to the garden and rips up a plant and tries to cover the camera with it.
If this was professional he would have brought black tape to cover it or used butt if gun and smashed ot immediately.
Again, nothing in this makes sense and its almost like he was a patsy and what we see is an act to distract from something else. Same with the gloves and potentially the ransom notes.

Totally agree...but what the hell was he doing there in the first place
84 year old woman living in a million dollar plus home has amassed a nice jewelry collection over the years and the home had to contain other things of value.
He makes the effort to subdue and carry out a 150lb woman but doesn't grab a 2lb jewelry box. Nothing about this case makes any sense.

Agree and if it was the sister/son in law, whats the gain here? She's 84 with health issues. Likely doesn't have too many years left. Why risk doing something in order to get inheritance a little early?

I'm still thinking an accident or negligence. Then they got freaked out and tried to cover it up.

Yep, everytime I posted about the possibility of Annie or Tommaso being involved I thought about "why?", she doesn't have many years left but most crimes are commited out of desperation and we all know that desperation breeds temporary insanity.

And there is still a lot that hasn't been answered.
The sheriff said there was no forced entry early on, so how did they get in? Why take down the door cam in the front if they went in through back or a side door? Why is he on camera twice, once with the backpack and gun and then a second time without any of that on?

Well, if I wanted to distract from my misdeeds, I'd get someone to provide a plausible alternative explanation.
If you don't want someone looking at you, you give them something else to look at.

I think the dude on video was a random thief trying to rob the house, woke her up, there was a confrontation, he killed her and disposed of her body in the desert.
That theory is not supported by the video. What random thief brings a backpack full of equipment into a house?
What items did the thief take to help make his troubles worthwhile? Once you kill someone, your effort to monetize the break in suddenly goes away?
Why remove the body and not clean up the blood? It’s still a murder scene.
If you have a body in the trunk, you also have your clothes to dispose of. It’s easier to dispose of clothes than it is to dispose of a body AND your clothes in separate locations. Leave the body, take valuable items and leave. Incinerate the clothes, spread the ash in the desert, and sell the goods in Mexico.
