A lot of police departments have license plate readers. How far would they have to travel from her home to the border? That would be a hell of a risk to take compared to the crime that was committed.

Jesus Christ, Chris. I’m just now reading this nonsense. Send her a message that she “messed with the wrong people” by doing a fricking interview? An interview that happened years after Prince Andrew had long since been disgraced? Why not go after the person that took the photographs of him with the said girl in question? Or, better yet, why not send a message to Andrew him fricking self, who was the real person that “messed” with wrong people? Oh that’s right, they did. And there were WAY more wrong people than just Virginia Giuffre, who, after initially denying having sex with Andrew back in 2011, had changed her tune not long thereafter, and there was filing in Florida against him and some other dudes regarding it in 2014. But he has a decades long history of associating with “wrong people.” Other women, tons of shady money people who funneled money to him, a Saudi Arabian arms dealer, a convicted Turkish gun smuggler, a Chinese spy, and the list goes on.
I’d read up on his Wikipedia page—he’s quite the piece of shite, and has been an embarrassment to the Royal family going back at least to 1978 where he had acquired the notorious nickname of “Randy Andy” due to “ before beginning his naval career in 1979 he "seemed to be in training as a professional playboy.” Still, the Queen stuck by him and, after officially holding the title of “His Royal Highness, Prince Andrew” since birth, she created him “Duke of York, Earl of Inverness and Baron Killyleagh” on his wedding day in 1986. That marriage didn’t last long as they separated in 1992 and divorced in 1996.
After a 22-year career in the Royal Navy, he served the UK's Special Representative for International Trade and Investment from 2001 to 2011, but resigned following scrutiny of his expenses and associations with controversial figures. This was only the beginning of the honors he began to lose in disgrace. Virginia Guffrie had been speaking out against him and his association with her through Esptein since 2014–doing several interviews with various journalists before the Samantha Guthrie Nightline show in September of 2019–and Andrew ultimately settled a lawsuit with her in the U.S. in 2022.
That same year, Elizabeth II removed his military affiliations and patronages, and he ceased using the style "Royal Highness". And in 2025, Charles III removed Andrew's remaining royal styles and honours, and restricted his use of titles and peerages. He vacated Royal Lodge, part of the Crown Estate, and relocated to private accommodation on the Sandringham estate. And just this year, he was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office, the first arrest of a senior member of the British royal family since the arrest of King Charles I in 1647.
He was later stripped of just about every title he ever had, had to wear civilian clothes to the Queen’s funeral, was accused by several more some of inappropriate sexual contact, called somebody the n-word with a hard “r,” lost his Royal family stipend and protection, his military honors, and can’t use “His Royal Highness,” “Prince,” or “Duke or Earl” of anything, making him simply Andrew Windsor. Oh, and he fricking has 50-60 teddy bears on his bed, having to be arranged just so, or he yells at the help.
But back to the Samantha Guthrie interview of Victoria Guffrie that some of you fricking imbeciles think was soooooo offensive and threatening that the royal family would kidnap and/or murder her 84-year-old mother to “send a message.” That happened in September of 2019. Just 2 months later in November, Andrew’s dumbass did his own interview with a woman named Emily Maitlis. Andrew that it went swimmingly. However, “ the interview received overwhelmingly negative reactions from the media and the public. It was described as a "car crash", "nuclear explosion level bad", and the worst public-relations crisis for the royal family since the death of Diana, Princess of Wales.”
The Royal Family, specifically Charles and William, hate Andrew’s fricking guts and are hoping the world forgets his existence until the clock runs out on him and he dies. Not only would they never care enough to “send a message” to ANYBODY regarding him as “messing with the wrong people,” if they were going to it, Samantha Guthrie wouldn’t crack the top 100. The list would be ONE—it would begin and end with Andrew himself.

Ok. I’d imagine most criminals know about tracking of phones.
Cuomo had a couple on a bit ago that said the FBi is in contact with the Mexican authorities. The Bluetooth pacemaker sniffer was coded on the airplane to the crime scene by a civilian company who shared the code with the bureau.
