this is a good thing for "transgender kids" because they wont mutilate themselves while young and then one day regret it.

this should be framed as saving trans lives.

its literally made up bullshite word so they can justify and normalize all the insanity that is the LGBTTW1_#)50+++!!#3333 crap.

don't accept it. we don't need a special word to describe millions of years of 2 genders.

‘cisgender’

Is made-up term intended to make normal sound like a subset. It’s just linguistic sleight of hand: invent a new word, retroactively assign it to the majority, and pretend it’s always been a thing.

c on z and the LBTQLMNOP+ people can keep playing make-believe if they want, but shouldn’t expect the rest of us to play along.

yep, we were typing the same responses pretty much in separate multiverses to respond to CONZ

Having a transgender kid is just a status and social symbol among affluent and celebrity women. It is the 2020s version of the teacup dogs these vapid women carried around 20 years ago.

In another generation or two we will look at the doctors mutilating these children as no different than Josef Mengele and the sexual butchers they are.

like we needed another reason as evidence that celebrities are figments of pop culture and not real people

Most likely the same group of them that have dissented on everything common sense

The activist politics and party first mentality of the Obama 2 and the DEI 1 supremes dictate their views on every court decision. As the Dem party moves left so does the opinion of these justices. You don’t always know where 4 of the 6 Republican appointees will fall on a given case as even Gorsuch has had a few surprises and the same for lower courts, but you always know where these 3 and the Dem appointees on lower courts will fall.

In this case the dissenting opinion was written by Justice La Raza Sonia Sotomayor.

I still remember when she was just required to agree to leave being a part of La Raza to get confirmed for Supreme Court like that changed her actual views on putting Mexico above the United States.

The below is one of Gorsuch’s opinions and an example of why he can also be an unknown vote on many cases.
quote:

Five years ago, the Supreme Court ruled that transgender people, as well as gay and lesbian people, are protected by a landmark federal civil rights law that prohibits sex discrimination in the workplace. That decision is not affected by Wednesday’s ruling.

How a court can change the legal term of sex in a law (written as biological sex not the act) decades after the fact baffles me. Gorsuch and the rest that joined him basically legislated from the bench and usurped powers only granted to Congress.

Chief Justice John Roberts wrote for a conservative majority that the law does not violate the Constitution’s equal protection clause, which requires the government to treat similarly situated people the same.

Should be 9-0. The only discrimination is a minimum age which is well established as permissible.

No it’s not.

It’s still women’s healthcare.

SHE is STILL a WOMAN.

As such, SHE deserves the psychological aspect of healthcare.

How can children provide informed consent if they dont have all of the information that is provided by going through puberty? That's about 80% of what one would need to know.

VP Vance got suspended and posts removed on Bluesky within 15 minutes of joining and then posting a section from this opinion and discussing it.

Vance followed up with another post that read, “To that end, I found Justice Thomas's concurrence on medical care for transgender youth quite illuminating. He argues that many of our so-called ‘experts’ have used bad arguments and substandard science to push experimental therapies on our youth.”

His final post, mere seconds later, added, “I might add that many of those scientists are receiving substantial resources from big pharma to push these medicines on kids. What do you think?”

Well, the Bluesky overlords didn’t think much of it at all. Within minutes, the vice president was suspended—proof once again that these platforms preach tolerance, right up until they encounter an opinion that doesn’t fit their narrative.

It was a masterclass in trolling—and a perfect reminder of just how allergic the left is to free speech when they can’t control it. In fact, Bluesky has gotten so bad with censorship that even Mark Cuban says it’s become toxic to anyone who doesn’t toe the line 100%. “Even if you agree with 95% of what a person is saying on a topic, if there is one point that you might call out as being more of a gray area, they will call you a fascist etc.,” Cuban observed.

I think he added this last bit knowing that Bluesky would suspend him for spreading misinformation.
