Then you came in with fake news about UGA.

I was responding to the anecdote of the Georgia fan who was tearing down Columbia to the OP, displaying my original point re:hatred for SC.

No one-sided rivalry here. Just sharing my perspective of Georgia fans who live in SC.

To all those considering moving from a liberal shithole to a southern utopia, do not bring your liberal bullshite with you. Vote red - you created the shitholes you’re leaving and it’s time to pay the piper.

Unfortunately, his vote isn’t going to count for much. That part of downtown Charleston has been gerrymandered into SC’s 6th district. I’ll let you look up why his vote won’t matter.

I thought the dream of Cheeseheads and Badgers is to move to Chicago or the Twin Cities so you can leave Wisconsin but not be too far away from home.

How about leaving politics out of the O-T lounge. That would be great for the well being of this board.

Hyman's

Vern’s is the best place to eat right now in Charleston. All the places OP mentions are overrated. you can get better fried chicken at the churches on meeting than Leon’s. The less time you spend South of spring street the better off you are.

I’m a Georgia fan, but I like Columbia - have always enjoyed spending the night there en route to a family reunion. Good restaurants, some fun bars, walkable downtown.

Clearly a racist move.

Congrats on the move. I’m green with envy. Don’t hate me because of my color.

I get $25 to spend on Grubhub every Tuesday and Thursday and that dominos is on the site. So it’ll be happening at some point

Shandon and Forest Acres are the first that come to mind,

This. We lived in Forest Acres. Great place to live, and quick shot to downtown. However the problem you have in Columbia is that you're never more than a few blocks from ghetto trash, no matter where you live. So theft is a problem, especially breaking in to cars.

Not too sure about that since I’m seeing a lot of Wisconsin plates here in Florida.

Charleston is awesome. Only 1.5 hours away. Much better than Savannah.
