Not to scare you or anything, but my dad had the same issue so went to the doc, ended up being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

He lived about two more years "because they caught it early."

You might want to check it out.

For my wife, it ended up being gluten. But I always needled her about it being the pancreas. It's a symptom.

Foul smelling gas is not a pathological condition. I enjoy the scents I make. It's amazing how variable they are.
