Straight line winds in Bossier were bad enough I could feel it pushing the walls and shaking the door frames and that's a brick house on concrete slab. Felt like the roof was gonna come off. That was wild.

Man it just never got that bad at my house. I mean it was sideways rain and some gusts of like 30 or 49 mph but other than that I could’ve stood outside for some of it.

That was pretty tame. I’m surprised. It’s all but gone now.

According to some here, you just must need your house to be leveled to be impressed.

Decent thunderstorm here in Prairieville but little to no wind so far. Radar looks like we get one more good band in the next few minutes

Primary change this outlook is to add a 10 sig tornado probability across AL where the potential for at least a couple strong tornadoes is evident this afternoon, and increase damaging wind probabilities to 45 percent.

What's a "10 sig tornado probability"?

Props to DEMCO, power is back, but lights occasionally flickering. Tripped running to get coffee pot brewing, lol. At least I’ll have some coffee, storm be damned.

seems like the lightning has passed in that area; it was enough to wake me and send the cats into scared hiding. I got up and made a cup of coffee and watched, been pretty quiet the past couple minutes.

crap, per the Advocate there's a second red band coming in minutes

I’m issuing a Rain Warning for Ascension Parish. It’s officially raining and I can confirm it using my Skywarn training.
