Legalizing weed would really be a plus for Louisiana. Stoned employees are the best

Anyone who would smoke weed before going to work, or on the job, already does so.

I believe state and government officials are the only groups exempt from weed work laws in the entire state.

I’m glad that us peasants have to abide by different laws than our elected officials. We are not worthy!

The OT'S fav Mandy Landry has a bill in session now that would extend the same laws to private industries. Speak up and get it passed.

"Medical Marijuana" should be illegal.

Yeah bc legal stuff like OxyContin and other pain pills are much more safe and effective.

I guess now I'll continue not to smoke pot. I'll stick to something safer...another round bartender.

Thats the best way to keep the black market viable.

So drug dealers and the "black market" don't mark up their product????

Also, why are we not seeing cheap cigarettes and hooch being sold on every corner in American?

ETA

The only way that it will ever get legalized in LA in our lifetimes or our kid's lifetimes is to present a legalization plan that includes taxation, regulation, enforcement, and plans for the tax revenue. NOW....we know that LA won't stick to that revenue plan but it makes Congress feel good about legalizing stuff like this (IE gambling).

The mental gymnastics behind fentanyl laced weed are mind numbingly dumb.

Do the think they'll just sprinkle some fentanyl on the crop or something? To what end?

police, sheriffs and district attorneys across the state strongly opposed the bill.

That would mess up their booming economy.

Not as much as the government. Seriously.

Eric garner would like a word.

Also, hooch is still sold illegally, it’s just that the ATF has so mercilessly attacked moonshiners that the juice is no longer worth the squeeze.

Could you imagine if LA was the first state in the deep south to legalize? Set up shop by the borders of Texas, Mississippi, and Arkansas and rake in the tax dollars. Only gd democrat governor against legalization.

typical short sided reactionary bullshite.

I’m about halfway done renovating a building for a new medical dispensary which will include some interesting artwork on the building face and monument sign. I’d post the artwork but it might get me in trouble

Sometime late June of this year yall should take a drive down Picardy between Essen and bluebonnet though. In the meantime, go get your medical recommendation and join us in enjoying the finest herb that is currently available, albeit at a premium price.

It’s worth it no question.

Good. We don’t need more violence, we are already a pretty violent state. There is a reason sheriff’s departments almost unanimously oppose marijuana.
