This is getting big coverage... On WVUE news they have run the segment twice back to back repeating the same info... Shootings happen every day but this is getting a lot of attention...

Crazy how quickly they died out and with hardly any federal intervention. Carlos must have really held the reigns or found a way for them to actually go legal.
By the end of the run, most of the extended family was all in legit businesses. I could throw a baseball twice and hit CM's house and it always amazed me how open and unprotected he was, used to chat with him pretty regular walking my dog passing his house on way to levee.

When she was a kid, my wife's family lived next door to him in Metairie Club Gardens across the street from the Metairie Country Club. Mother in law used to say that he was the quietest neighbor on the street, and no issues over property line fence or trees.

A similar shooting at a New Orleans restaurant not too long ago left some tourist wounded with stray bullets.

This is the issue. No one cares if they gun each other down like dogs. It’s the stray bullets people care about.

The dead victim was 26, not 19. Learn how to read.

the article says-

"Family members on Saturday identified the slain man as 19-year-old Kareem Harris, a 2024 graduate of Livingston College Academy in New Orleans."
