Interesting.
The local Mazda dealership website is showing 91 of them in inventory for 25 and 26. In thinking their website has a glitch because that doesn’t seem realistic.
They could be listing cars at another store they have. They also list cars that they have ordered but haven't been shipped yet.

The Mazdausa.com website shows 91 CX-5's at Paretti.

That’s what I was looking at.
I wouldn’t have though my with all vehicles combined that they would have that much “inventory”.

I think Burleson has so many CX5 to clear out space for the new 26 models at other Hiley locations in DFW
Love ours. It's black Micah with black leather interior. Power everything with sunroof. 19 inch rims with Toyo tires. Auto wipers and hi beams, lane assist, roof rack. A similarly equiped Tiguan was 39k. It's fun to drive. The new 26 will have a big iPad touchscreen to replace the buttons and knobs on the 25 year model.
The CX5 and CX50 share engine and transmission, both have AWD as standard, and interiors on both are very similar and also quite good. I see the CX5 as more classy, and the cx50 as more sporty. The cx50 is pretty much a CX5 that has been squashed

Which version(trim level) do you have?

Carbon. It's the trim with black rims. It also has real leather and not the leatherette.
I did my purchase by text and email. Negotiations on price took less than a minute. They even brought the car to me. I didn't care what the price is on their website. We could not be happier with the car. I wanted the non turbo version but it's a 1500 buck option if you want it. I find the NA version plenty fast

As a former owner of a Terrain and current CX-90 driver go with the Mazda. If you’re looking to purchase new you should be able to find 2.99 financing pretty easily.

If it us between those two, go with the CX-50
If you are looking for another alternative to those two, then look at the Toyota Rav4

No.
Out of those, and you have to? Mazda.

I clearly said in the OP that I wasn’t getting one of those. LOL

AVOID THE TERRAIN AT ALL COSTS!!
I made the mistake after wife insisted on it, it’s cost me thousands in repairs
Never again
Avoid the Hyundai 2.4L and the GM 2.4L. They both burn excessive amounts of oil.
Repair history for our Terrain
ECM/PCM
O2 sensor
Exhaust manifold
Alternator
ENGINE REPLACEMENT at 105k miles

Stay away from the Terrain.
My mom has a '16 Terrain, never had a problem with it...

Serious question... Did you properly maintain the car?

I just bought a CX-50 Turbo Premium Plus in October. I was going to buy it outright, but Mazda was doing 0.9% financing, so I went with the free money. I think they are still running that offer. Sticker was around $44k and I got it out the door with taxes for just under $39k. Bought it at Southern States Mazda in Raleigh, if you're looking for the reference point.
Car has been great, my only semi-complaint is the gas mileage. I'm getting about 24 MPG on mixed use. I knew that the mileage wouldn't be great considering it's 4wd and pretty powerful for its size and class and somewhat heavy.
I see reviewers complain about the tech interface, but after a week or two with it and getting used to it, it's actually great and one of the things that I like about the car.
Overall, it's been a grat vehicle over the fist 5k miles that I put on it. Really fun to drive and the dynamics are so much better than anything else that I considered. I looked at the CRV hybrid, thinking I might go for efficiency, but the Mazda is a lot more engaging. They sell a Hybrid CX-50 that runs Toyota's hybrid system if you're looking for better milage.
CX-50 also has a 5 star safety rating and got the IIHS Top Safety Pick+ award if that's meaningful to you.

90% of the time if you’re deciding between a GM and Mazda product, you go with Mazda
