Can you confirm the doing drugs on camera rumor?

Heroine is certainly not the worst thing you can do.
Getting addicted opiats is about the worst thing you can do yourself and those around you.

Far from stupid if you take my educational background into consideration. I do lose my keys quite frequently, perhaps that makes me stupid.
If you can show me one single peer reviewed study that ranks heroin above alcohol, I will create a thread guaranteed to get me banned.

Also worth mentioning the alumni advisor is the sole reason they're in trouble with nationals. This is third or fourth time he's done this.

Booze is the worst. There really is no debating that. Benzos a close second.

Heroin and opioid addiction is pretty fricking terrible.
It's a hard charade to manage. It's a tragedy when someone is having to live that life while wasting their formative/best years of their lives.
My heart and good vibes goes out to the family of the kid that ODd and hope that it wakes up the remainder of the chapter that may be struggling with this.
Many kids are coming out of Rummel, Belle Chase, BM, North Shore, St Pauls, Destrahan, Mandeville, Higgins, Etc and moving up to LSU already addicted to opiates. It's systemic. Young men are snorting it and using it recreational whereas it hasn't completely grabbed them by the balls yet. Good vibes sent their way.

It wouldn't be so bad if the greek culture wasn't so closely associated with alcohol use.
It's not the opiates that are killing these kids. It's the lack of education on drug use.
I can't help but think if kids were taught the reality behind substance abuse, this kind of shite wouldn't be so common. Perhaps they would know that mixing their drugs with alcohol can be fatal, this would have been avoied.

Heroine overdose deaths are not as high as prescription drug overdoses but the statistics show the death rate skyrocketing for heroine in recent years.
These stats are from the NIH

This boggles my mind. Booze, weed, hell, even coke. Stupid, but I can see it. Opiates, either pills or heroin-I just don't understand how this gets to be a thing. Every generation has to repeat the same mistakes, but it's been several years since they've gotten popular again, and there are enough bad examples out there that they ought to recognize that this is shite you don't want to be involved in.

Come on guys, haven't yall heard? Barf knows everything!
Posted on 11/12/15 at 9:31 am to Barf
I'm with you on this... It's the additives in the heroin, the lack of knowledge of what they are putting in their body, and mixing with benzos like Xanax, and more importantly the doing of the opiates after a six pack of tall boys...
Doesn't change the fact that the wanting/need of chasing that "heroin" feeling is what's causing these deaths.
Some of the "least aged" life long addicts I've ever met were actually heroin addicts. They were healthy as shite, but they also knew how to maintain it. Majority of heroin addicts can't do that. They were an outlier.

Heroin is actually relatively safe. It's the alcohol that kills you. Heroin overdoses, in and of themselves, are very rare.
This is the dumbest statement I've seen in a while... I lived in Los Angeles and bad batches of heroin would go through skid row and take the lives of many people. Don't know where you got your info, but it's wrong.
