You want to look at someone not doing their job as a prosecutor? Look at linda farstein and Elizabeth lederer in the central park jogger case
They caved to public and social pressure and railroaded 5 juveniles straight to prison and now the taxpayers are paying for 5 lives complete ruined
The DA at the time, now retired, says about that case "if we knew now what we knew then, those kids wouldn't have even been indicted"

How do you go from not enough evidence to indict to 13 years in rikers island as a juvenile?

Was this that white kid that was murdered by that black guy that no one cares about?

No, they're talking about some thug that strong armed a store owner and then was dumb enough to try it on a cop.. didn't end so well the second time.

I say again. A Gopro costs $300. How much in overtime has been spent policing these hooligans for something that a Gopro could've stopped?

The Obama administration just supposedly freed up $263M in federal granf money to encourage departments to require cameras on officers
One of the few things I support aboot this administration

The image of the Brown "surrender" is not supported by the evidence as reviewed by multiple media outlets. Here is a link to the
Washington Post article detailing their review of the grand jury testimony. I think we can agree that the Post is a left meaning news organization predisposed to support the concept of a "surrender" (like Time does), but the information the Post reviewed doesn't support it.
In conclusion, most witnesses reported some form of Brown's hands being raised, but were unclear as to what it meant, i.e., surrender, shock, etc.

2 said he did not
I'm going to say that there were not 18 people who actually saw what happened in the moments he was shot. If that was the case, this would have been an open and shut case. What you had was 18 people telling a story that they pieced together as they all stood behind police tape listening to gossip. I don't know what happened, and I think it is very odd for a guy to run from the cop, then turn back and charge him, but I also believe that the guy never had his hands up and this was all made up and the media ran with it. MSNBC was pulling back and saying that it didn't have to do with just this case. That the racial divide blah, blah, blah. They realized that the Brown guy was not the person they needed to rally behind now, but were still pushing the issue. They are willing to destroy a man's life and send him to jail for a crime (that we still don't have any evidence he commited) just because they didn't like that the police force was mostly white??????

I don't think that means what you think that means.
The court found no duty to present exculpatory evidence. However, that does not preclude such exculpatory evidence from being presented.
Moreover, the grand jury clause of the Fifth Amendment has not been applied to the states, so this decision is inconsequential in Missouri.

The media should be charged with inciting the riot with all the apparant falsehood they publish as fact. Sad times in the country for sure.

What is the purpose of a grand jury by your definition?

People. And by people, I mean you and the President, think this is so simple. Just slap a camera on every officer and all is solved. Let me ask you geniuses a question. What the frick are you going to do with the Terabyte of video that a larger department generates EVERY DAY? Give it a few minutes of thought, you have to keep the video for your perfect idea to work. So where do you think it will all go? Who is going to pay for all that storage? The workers who download/upload the data, maintain the search databases, maintain the cameras, monitor which officers aren't wearing theirs, etc, etc? It's not so damn easy.

I love the idea of body cams. I love having 2 cameras in my car. We have tried body cams of different types. We haven't found one that works for us yet. One fight and they break, the batteries don't last a whole shift, and downloading them causes officers to be at the station instead of being on the streets.
