Burger King. So the fact Popeyes is only as well run as Burger King should tell you all you need to know.
Popeyes has been poorly run and was on a slide well before Restaurant Brands picked them up. It does seem to have escalated post Covid, though.
For those who are interested, Restaurant Brands formed with the merger Burger King & Tim Hortons in 2014, they now also own Popeyes(2017), and Firehouse Subs(2021).

I tell my wife the people that work at Burger King got fired from Popeyes and the people that work at Popeyes got fired from Burger King.

All Popeye’s employees are either in work release, just out of jail, or just about to be sentenced.

A whataburger recently opened here…everyone that’s been fired from any job in town in the last 6 months now works there.

Canes and CFA and Starbucks make bank by hiring decent workers. Why is that concept so complicated for other places like BK and Popeyes?

Popeye restaurants are franchised so the culture is dependent on the owner operators and the location in which they pull employees from. Not so much Burger King

Popeyes chicken is superior to CFA.
CFA is still my preferred choice because of the consistently efficient service.
If CFA/Canes management team bought out Popeys, they'd rule the world

This aint a big deal. They just ended the last "all you can eat buffet" deal in the country (lafayette). Now thats a real first world problem.

Yet you left one Popeyes because the line was too long lol
You do know that the amount of driving you did and waiting at the other, you would've saved time and gas if you just would have stayed.
Just admit youre an impatient fatty

That is true but my experiences seem to be generally the same and I wonder if the franchise agreements could be a bit lax in what the corporate expectations are.
It also would surprise me if the 3 Popeyes the Op referred to were all owned by the same franchisee.

If their tenders was as juicy as their bone-in chicken, I’d agree. Unfortunately, while still good flavor, Popeye’s tenders many times seem a bit too dry, hence I prefer Chick Fil A for tenders.
RaginCajun03 Fast Food Tenders Ranking:
Krispy Krunchy (when fresh)
BoJangles (at least the one time I had them)
Chick Fil A
Popeyes
Albertson’s
Cane’s
Whataburger (great grilled chicken, but they screw up tenders)

Wash, rinse, and repeat this scenario in Belle Chasse… Arby’s and Waffle House too. Went to waffle house at 4 AM, hungry as a field hand and it was locked up tight with at least five tables with food still on top. Arby’s closed at supper time…

I don't disagree completely on the tenders but I do like the crunch/batter on Popeyes tenders better.

Alabama Popeye's franchisee went under
They closed the two new ones in my area. I used to drive to Gadsden and back to get Popeye's and begged them to open one on Sand Mountain where I live. Finally opened 2 and they didn't last 2 years before lack of staffing closed them.
