My old boss was from Spain. Huge micromanaging prick.
My sister-in-law is a Spanish citizen and her dad's side of the family lives there. She's wonderful. So there's that.

Thw women in Spain are the only ones that work in Spain. All of the guys are too busy smoking cigarettes at cafes looking for a dude to hook up with.

Let’s just make fun of women without doing research - typical men:

I unironically strongly dislike the Spanish.
I have had more bad interactions Spaniards when abroad than any other nationality.
Give me 100 self-unaware Chinese tourists over a single Spanish Family with main character syndrome.

If it was something in effect here when I was in the public sector, I don't know that I'd use it that often but would've appreciated a day or so when my endo flares up and I get pretty horrific back pain that requires more than just regular OTC pain meds.
These days, I just move some clients to telehealth that day since I can still do sessions but lets me work at home with a heating pad and with some breaks. If it's too bad and I need prescription pain meds, I'll reschedule folks.

I wish we’d do that here. The trick is to make sure all the women workers sync up. That way you could have at least one productive week at the office.

When I was on methimazole, I totally understood this meme:

My last year in the school system, I had to burn all of my accrued paid leave on my gallbladder removal surgery (was out for a couple of weeks and had appointments afterward for bile reflux). It sucked those last couple of months without leave in the middle of flu season before I moved into my current job in the private sector.

Is it them, or you?

It’s called a joke nerd. I don’t work with many females. Might see one at work once a month or so.
