If you have any autographs certified by Jim DiMaggio, proprietor of J. DiMaggio and Co., you probably have a fake.

I never buy autographs (unless a gag like the Amber Lynn baseball) but I really wanted an Alfred Hitchcock autograph. It had a Dimaggio certification. Looked good when I got it in NOLA 20 years ago, but sent it to reputable reviewer who said "fake."

I have race car driver Jackie Stewart's (he was on a flight from Palm Springs to LAX with me, he signed the historic race program he drove in) and Tour de France winner Greg LeMond's (signed a race poster, we have a bike race in Redlands every year). These are the only autographs I have. I respect them both, and would not have bothered them otherwise.

My favorite is a picture of Madame Hillary it's signed. I found and printed it off the internet.

My mother used to volunteer at the book barn at LSU. One day she comes home with golf my way by jack Nicklaus. She thought I'd like it because it was about golf. Inside cover is his autograph. Book is in mint condition but no dusk jacket.

Also have Winston Churchill from my father in law.

If you lie a lot then you need to get someone's autograph to prove it. Autographs on meaningful memorabilia I can understand but collecting signatures only seems dumb

I have a signed Michael Jackson CD myself...not a fan but he was signing autographs at an in-store Tower Records once so bought a CD and got him to autograph it.

2001...Invincible Album...in New York City. I almost went. I went to the 30th anniversary concert instead.

In 2001 while attending the Michael Jackson 30th Anniversary concert on Monday, Sept. 10th, 2001 I bought a Bernard Hopkins vs Felix Trinidad t-shirt, who were scheduled to fight on Sept 15, 2001 at Madison Square Garden. Obviously the fight was postponed and rescheduled for Sept 29th, 2001 at MSG.

Hopkins ko'ed Trinidad.

A few weeks later I got Bernard Hopkins to autograph the t-shirt and since his nickname was Executioner, I had him place a big "X" over the picture of Tito on the shirt.

That would be my favorite autograph.

Roger Federer.

I also have a John Rocker signed baseball that is just humorous to me at this point.

Lou Brock (the pride of Southern University).

I met him at a program he was doing to help wayward kids (I was not one of the kids), and he volunteered to give us all autographs. Otherwise, I would not have asked him. Quite a gentleman.
