Just received a gift of Omaha streaks. Not impressed. But it’s the thought that counts.

After being told multiple times to stop my sister insists on sending a box of that stuff to my house every Christmas. She has sent several different brands over the years and they all have a common flaw. Way too lean. I give them away to my neighbors who seem to like them.

We hit that shite with a mallet til it's between .75-1" thickness, season it up, and put it on the grill. It's always tender as can be & tastes delicious.
Now if I'm doing some really luxurious pan saute technique crap I might get a premium butcher cut, but otherwise Sam's club get it done

My mom will occasionally get these for me. The servings of steak are pretty small, like 2 - 3 ounces. The quality of the steak is good, but not worth the price IMO.
The packages usually include one or two different cuts of beef, with other stuff thrown in; like hotdogs, hamburger patties, apple turnovers, lasagna, or potatoes au gratin.
