Still would have been pathetic, and likely still charged for SOMETHING, but at least they couldn't have gotten her for the DUI.
It's amazing to me what people will admit to the police. I bet she just came right out with it too.

Hope she can get her life together and get something out of going to meetings, court ordered or not. There's help out there if you want it.

Had an English teacher show up drunk when I was in HS. It was report card day and she was writing grades all over the cards.

I hope so. I don't judge her at all, but hopefully this is her rock bottom. I blew a .276 when I first got to detox and had to deal with no hot water for the first 3 days while my feet were killing me. Could barely eat because my throat and esophagus hurt so bad. That was my rock bottom, and I've remained sober since.

Ppl say this shite but if educators actually stick with education none of this would happen. Teachers & admins in school always try to be cool with the kids and most curriculums these days there is so much frickery going on instead of teaching. It’s what happens when teachers spend their whole lives in a school and never grow up themselves. Of course this doesn’t apply to ALL teachers but I welcome the downvotes from teachers offended who post here
