Aussies don’t have the same mindset as most gun owning yanks. That guy who got disarmed would be ventilated by the hero in short order. It’s like he didn’t know what to do with the rifle.

The gun control folks are going to be real quiet with this one

I know this is crazy to say but if say the man who disarmed that terrorist shot at the 2nd terrorist with the gun, i bet $100 that this amazing Samaritan would be arrested and charged. shite is backwards in Australia

Am I seeing this correctly? He disarmed the terrorist and allowed him to rejoin his buddy and get another weapon? What even was the point?

Damnit am I seeing that correct? The guy took his gun away and then let him escape and the frickin perp runs back to his buddy and gets another gun and starts shooting again. Damnit that pisses me off

In Manhattan he'd be in jail for theft, assault, and possession of a deadly weapon.

If tweet fails to load, click here. Random dude disarms him but lets him walk away

wonder why didn't drop guy after taking gun
Because, it's Australia.
Even here...if a guy turned terrorist into swiss cheese...
Dems would want him changed for not giving terrorist "Due Process...".
Insane I know

Paraphrasing Tuco, "when you have to shoot...shoot". Still that was a ballsy move by him.

Islam needs to be eradicated from the western world . Send them back to their shitholes in the ME
Posted on 12/14/25 at 7:26 am to CapnKangaroo
Bc he probably would have then been charged with murder

Exactly. Guy was a hero but there was nothing he could do after that. In Aus he shoots the unarmed guy he’s now a murderer

Impossible - guns are banned in austrailia.

We need to study and copy how Vlad dealth with Muslim invaders. Appeasement works less with Muslims than any other group.

Wonder why he didn’t drop the guy after taking his gun

Prayers out for all of the innocent victims.
Honest question here.. if you are a Christian, what exactly do you pray for the victims in this situation?
That Yahweh delivers them to whatever Jews believe for the afterlife? That they find salvation in heaven with Jesus? I sometimes wonder about this when folks who don’t believe in our Lord suffer harm and need prayer. What do you pray?
No matter what… It’s a terrible terror event, there is far too much hate in this world.
