It is a milestone day in there life. Kudos Last week we voted for the new billing rates for partners and associates for 2025. I have been having twinges of guilt based on the obscene rates. Reading this thread has absolved me of that and actually made me grin. Thanks OT.
Doesn’t know the difference between there/their/they’re but trying to flex about your “obscene rates”. Such a great microcosm for the current state of your oversaturated profession

bro dont worry about these fricks. 99% of these guys couldnt get an undergrad degree, much less go to law school and pass the bar.
most are horrible at basic statistics and think every plumber and hvac tech makes bank despite what the median and averages salaries say.
congrats to your son, its a big accomplishment.
frick the haters.

Most everyone here has gotten a mortgage or bought a car. Know why it takes 67 signatures to close a mortgage in FL? Know why it takes 13 signatures to buy a car, even if paying cash?
Because lawyers love defending morons that claim they didn't know they had to make payments or carry insurance.
Lawyers are a necessary evil because logic and common sense are on their deathbeds.
My wife was sued by a 3rd party driver and passenger (that no one at the accident ever saw). That driver was in a borrowed car, no insurance, questionable drivers license and registration, and $800 in damage to rear bumper cover. The driver didn't wait on the police but later went to an ambulance chaser, filed an amended traffic report to add him and the maybe passenger, and then filed suit. Spent 5 years in the courts. Outcome was driver got $30k and ghost passengers' estranged sister got $100k because passenger died during litigation. USAA handled all lawyers for my wife but ultimately paid out.
IMO, common sense and logic would seem you not illegible for compensation if you are not 100% legal to be on the road. Our fricked up legal system says otherwise.
TLDR... frick ambulance chasers!

The guy you’re chiding about grammar is one of the most brilliant and interesting people that posts here. If I had to place bets on an intellectual battle between you and him, sight unseen. All my money is on Obtuse1.

When you read a banger of an el Gaucho post and then have to stop and wonder if you’re the one being satirized this time
