I'm black. And that saying is an exaggeration.
The truth is it depends on what a woman wants. Some women are attracted to the body types and aggressive behavior of black men. So they are more inclined to date them. But white women overall prefer their own race.
I will have to find the study, but the trend they found is interesting.
White and other WoC typically prefer white men
White men prefer Asian women but are ok with other women with a low tolerance for black women.
Black women generally prefer to be with black men. This is due in part to cultural influences and the fact that they are not seen as conventionally attractive to other races of men.

IIRC black women are the least desired combo race/gender group, followed by Asian men. Each respective group is the most masculine or feminine among their peers, phenotypically speaking.

my wife's best friend's husband. i feel soo bad for this guy.
His wife grew up super poor, white trailer trash. She was cute and managed to go to college where they met. They got together. She got a teaching degree. He got a mechanical engineering degree. He comes from well off grandparents who spoil him. Partly because his father dipped out when he was super young. But he himself is super grounded, works hard, and is a good ol southern baw. She is now teaching theater at the high school level, so her income is 1/3rd of his. Combined income is $150k, but he's doing well where he works and will soon get a management gig.
This chick tho.... Her self-worth is sky high. She is the definition of a pretentious princess. How he puts up with it blows my mind. I get sick of her shite on weekend trip amongst couples. And sometimes i wish i could limit how much my wife hangs out with her. She's a terrible influence. Few examples:
First home they bought together last year, was a $315k home, in a gated neighborhood, that is brand spanking new. Their mortgage is like $2500/month. His grandfather put down the $50k down payment for them. It hasn't even been a year and she wants to sell it for a bigger house, in a better neighborhood, and find a house with a pool.
She drove a 2015 Mercedes when we first met them. First time it hiccuped, they went upside down on it, to trade it in for a brand new 2018 Jeep Cherokee, fully loaded. LOL, and the note on it was more than the Mercedes was. She has driven it since March. Hates the Cherokee now. Wants to get rid of it and get another new Mercedes. "It matches my style better". ...... a teacher.
She's also ran up about $10-12k in credit card debt shopping and luxurious vacations (Italy for 2 weeks in 2016).
When we plan couples trips together. We can't ever just find somewhere reasonable for $200-250 a couple per night. Regardless if we'll only be sleeping there at night. Nope. She demands we "stop living like college students" and guilt trips the other wives into staying somewhere ridiculous. Same thing when we all go out to eat or do something entertaining. I call this the "boujie factor". If it's not "boujie" (this chick's favorite word) for her to post on her Instagram or Snapchat for her 300 online friends, then it's not good enough for her to waste her time on or be associated with, so she throws a fit or refuses to go. which is weird, when all her husband wants to do is bass fish and drink beer on the weekend.
I have 0 clue how this dude puts up with it or how he can possibly sustain her level of spending long term. Unless he eventually makes that type of money associated with her lifestyle. If it wasn't for his rich grandparents as "benefactors" to her/their lifestyle, I'm pretty sure they'd be broke as frick because of some serious debt.
long post. but this woman is the prime example of the unrealistic expectations that some very basic women have nowadays for their husbands.

This goes back to my principles prior to meeting my GF.
1) Must have a degree
2) Must be in the same salary range
3) Must have intellect
4) Adequate sex drive
5) Big boobs are nice but not mandatory.
I am okay with sacrificing/doing with less on everything else. I have lived on my own for roughly 11 years. I cook, clean, fix shite, etc.
When you stick to your guns and not let vag dictate your next step life becomes easier. I and my GF sometimes don't see eye to eye but I promise you, because of the reasons above in what I look for and the plethora of non sexual things she brings to the table, I desire to work on things with her rather than feel obligated to. That's the biggest difference to me from this relationship vs. the past failures. I always felt obligated to shoulder the load and I didn't really ask myself why.

I agree with the father talk. The other issue is the pool of men they want vs reality. If a single man has himself together, why does he have to settle for a single mother. Granted, their are some good single moms out there. But all else being equal, a man doesn't want to take care of another man's child.
I'm speaking to the 18 to 35 demographic. At a certain point it's just expected women have kids. But at that level, your rule still applies. And you have to look at how involved the Ex is and what her level of expectations are. In many cases it's not worth the hassle.

I don't get the Asian thing . I find some of them attractive but it's the exception rather than the rule. I think a lot of white men buy into the idea that Asian women have a tighter fit than other women. Maybe they are right in this line of thinking because I have no experience with Asian women.
