People have become increasingly insufferable over the last ten years, particularly since COVID, in my view. Many have transformed into overbearing ideologues and political zealots who feel impelled to trumpet their views in every interaction. Often times, they are ignorant, but that does not prevent them from taking absolutist positions on things they know nothing about. It's exhausting and depressing.

At the end of the day most people are just doing their best and trying to live their lives, even stupid people.
Most of the time it's genetics and their upbringing that make people stupid - that's really out of their control.
Being educated helps to some degree.
This is why solitude is underrated.
And we all have to deal with stupid people at some point throughout the day. It's a matter of choosing a peaceful, compassionate view of the situation.
I don't hate them. I pity them.
Just my $0.02.

You should live in Orange Beach or Gulf Shores. Snowbirds in the winter and idiots from every state in the summer. That is why I moved off the water to Craft Farms Golf Resort

I've had family members chew me out for being so aggravated/angry on the road...as a part-time Uber driver, it's hard for me to help it.
If you've been doing rideshare/delivery service(s) where time is money, you know exactly what I mean. You've seen the mistimed lights, people going way too slow given the speed, and people driving like maniacs way too often.
And that frustration bleeds into when you're not doing rideshare/delivery and you're just driving around town too. You're just sick of being on the road with incompetent people.

I ranted to my wife today how fricking stupid people are. Went to Zuppardo’s earlier, stupid people everywhere. Driving in Metairie, stupid people behind the wheel everywhere with zero awareness. I was out 2 hours and couldn’t wait to get home to get away from it. 80 percent of people are just fricking stupid and lack any kind of awareness. I hate sharing air with them.
