People actually give a shite about the teams of dancing girls? Back in the day, it was amusing to see the teams of prancing heffers that you just knew couldn’t make the cut in their high school flag corps - the fall back for fatties that couldn’t make the dance team.
Now there’s a public interest or a “looking forward to” tradition other than flambeauxs and the St Aug Marching 100.
Just wondering - are the 610 stompers a bunch of thicc-assed Lizzo’s or are they actually worth sexualizing in the way that we old schoolers look forward to.

I thought this was going to be about those kids groups. The ones with a fifteen year old minivan with five PA speakers strapped to the roof blaring shitty hip hop and a half dozen uninterested kids and a couple of adults walking behind. Occasionally stopping to do some sexualized moves that I don't want to see outside a strip club.
Those "groups" are solely marching to make a buck off the Krewes. They market themselves as a legit dance group and then show up with a "uniform" consisting of matching T-Shirts and do some dance they rehearsed two days before the parade. The Krewes know they are getting scammed but they have to let them March as there are requirements for groups between floats.

The female groups are mostly white lizzos
