yeah, its not snow-skiing itself that I find overrated per se, its the whole thing: having to wear a bunch of heavy gear/clothes, the boots suck, waiting in lines, being confined to an area with hundreds of people, the risk of significant injury, the cold(I hate the cold), the ski douchebags, etc. Add in the expense, and its just not worth it.

Yeah, that too. I've been through enough surgeries for busted joints and PT to recover to last me what time I have left on this orb without adding more.
