FYI Tesla is prob the best commuter car in existence. My wife bought the X7 but keeps taking the Tesla instead so it has 70k miles
Also you wanna tell me insurance electricity etc isn’t out of control these days?

Weird how your rage clouds your judgement if you think insurance ain’t a scam

It’s what keeps your vehicle grounded to the surface. Don’t trifle with it.

insurance is not a scam. insurance is also a product designed to be profitable by those that take on the assumption of risk.

I didn’t skimp on it, I told the lady I’ll take the same tire but it does feel a bit painful knowing that some rubber tire costs $500 a pop and you’re required to replace in pairs for awd

I spend a frick pile on tires. My wife’s X5M gets about 15k to 20k on a set and there probably $2500 a set and my Tesla is 2k a set and I get about 30k on them. 37’s for my 250 are about $2200 to $2500 now for a set if I had to guess.
Learn what the UTQG code means when you buy tires and buy accordingly. Then you will get tire sets that last longer.

Me and my brother bought a gas station/tire shop and I agree 100% with this.
We are in a very small town, but we have been selling tires as cheap as we can but even doing that, they are still expensive.

Yeah tbh I wasn’t even mad at the installation cost, it was actually reasonable. Wholesale tire costs are the real killer

Let me introduce you to a concept called shaving, unless both tires are damaged, you never have to replace both on an AWD axle because a good shop can shave the new one to match. There is a cost-benefit analysis to do because the lower the amount of tread on the undamaged tire, the less cost-effective it is.
FYI your wheels aren't "gold", they are aurum.
