Everyone has a right to a peaceful protest in America. Nothing more.
What some of these morons do by blocking roads is NOT a peaceful protest. That would be a violent protest, A.K.A. a riot. Anyone who does that should be removed by law enforcement immediately.
Also, when you protest, everyone else has the right to counter protest you. That means it’s ok to talk bad about these morons who shite all over the American flag and national anthem. You’re not anti-American for doing so.

The Right to Protest is the important thing. Protesting by itself is value- neutral. It depends on the validity of the protest. If I protest to deny your rights, that’s a shitty protest.

No, I think working hard and carving out a nice life for yourself and family, while not being bothered by or bothering others is more American than a stupid attention grab protest.

Disagree. If history is any indication, the most American things to do would include fighting and dying for other people’s freedoms and rights. Or maybe using democracy and capitalism to support the unfortunate, the oppressed, the terrorized, the conquered, and those in danger. Or how about just going to work every day, paying your bills and taxes, and trying to raise kids to be productive, law-abiding citizens?
