First problematic cells have formed in East TX headed NNE. The game is afoot.
Texarkana looks to be first in line for trouble.

In DFW, storms seem to be lining up here, I am guessing the threat is more ETX -> LA

The HRRR has cells starting to pop off in front of the DFW line up and thats the big concern. Riding up like Texarkana to Little Rock.
Starting to get the ole Radarscope warmed up for the evening myself.

Right now, yes. But it’s not even 3 pm yet. I’m not worried about anything in NWLA till at least 4:30. After that, all bets are off.
Trying to get my wife and the kids collected and home by 4:30.
This was never gonna pop in NWLA this early.

Texarkana looks ok on round one. A weak cell in the lead and two behind that one that are crowding each other and look messy.

Cells developing west of DFW are more discrete, big hail incoming

Supercells developing over central Oklahoma moving northeast at 45 mph.

Concerned about the one to the south of 20 more than those others. Those might clip McKinney.

@rds,
In your radar gif, that thin blue line coming in is the boundary correct?

Yep you are correct. If anything will happen in the metroplex it will be in the next few hours. Reports that weatherford is in the 50’s

It's definitely a boundry. Thinking dryline like the guy above says.

Whatever happened to that tornado from last week that spurred a PDS warning and was supposed to hit Coushatta?
It seemed like everyone on here was getting very worried and then I heard nothing more about it.
Also...
Are those lines supposed to "fatten up" before they come to SELA? Here the weather is forecast to be hours and hours of heavy rain. The bands currently look intense but small and spaced out.
