Tornadoes on ground in Calhoun and between Sterlington and Bastrop

Jeff is in Arkansas, chasing some biggies.
All of the storms rolling into Arkansas are starting to hit the moderate risk area now. Should, in theory, see things start popping off but the lack of individual cells would limit this.

Damn.. we must be lucky in WM so far

Yes and no. I’ve lived here 30+ years and there’s only been a couple tornadoes ever in WM. It’s a valley...

Cell SW of Farmerville was warned before and is starting to look that way again.

Around Ruston? You should. Likely tornado on the ground from radar.
Obviously be alert, but they’re real trigger happy with the sirens there from my experience.

Yeah I remember one a couple years ago and other than that I can't think of any

SUMMARY...A significant tornado threat may increase and areas
downstream from the Sevier County tornadic supercell ---including
Montgomery and Yell counties--- are under an increasing tornado
risk.

Reed Timmer is chasing the one around dierks. He said it’s at least a mile wide. Cell phone service sucks down there so the video keeps getting interrupted.

Should we start taking cover?
The sirens mean it's all clear its ok to go outside

I didn't even know Ruston has Sirens. Anywhere else in La that has sirens, i know Baton Rouge doesn't.

This tornado due W of Clarks, LA is pretty impressive on radar.
If it was a few miles to the E, it would basically be riding up Hwy 165.

Discrete cells starting to really pop up between the two lines in Shreveport and Monroe.

Here’s the tornado from Calhoun in Louisiana. Wherever that is.

Slackster, where do you get those graphics from, for the tornado warnings?

This has been so odd.
The moderate risk area is quiet and the areas around it are popping.
