in some ways, yes....

but there plenty of people who have autoimmune diseases, cancer, DM Type 1, etc, who don't really have a choice but to be on these medical breakthroughs that we've had with some of these meds that can help them live a life worth living...

i do understand your argument, but i'm just saying, as someone who sees it from both sides of the argument, your view is very myopic...

I’m 55 and have no prescriptions. I also only go to the doctor once every 7-8 years. I’ve got this thing figured out! Catch me if you can!

this line of thinking is exactly why we have exorbitant health care costs in this country now... preventative care cost way less than chronic care, so if we, as a population, would get our annual checkups and other preventative measures, we could, in time, drive the cost of healthcare down, as there would be less chronic illness to have to cover the costs for...

Can't get put on meds if you never go to the doctor.

Oh, it’s entirely genetic. I have a future date with cancer. It’s inevitable. It’s a killer on both sides of my family. We are all otherwise very “healthy” people.

It’s easy to tell who the fatties are in this thread

No, it’s not normal to be on 2, 3, or 4 prescription medications.
