No that’s an exaggeration, but it is still a serious concern for the world. Islam had around 600 million followers not that long ago historically. They now have 2 billion vs 2.3 billion for Christianity. Unfortunately, we are going to have to deal with this backwards religion. It’s going to be a wake up call for a lot of people including Westernized women.

Not a problem. This country was better off when it had 180 million people vs the 330 million today. They just use this as a pretext to import illegal aliens to further depress wages. Don’t fall for it.
every bit of this. There are too many people already. We need to end all taxpayer subsidies for low income child support to remove the incentive for more children among the poorest, and let the middle class stay around a birth rate less than the death rate. 200MM would be a good number to aim for

Give fifteen grand to every married couple who has a baby. And then give the parents a large tax credit against income taxes every year until the kid reaches 18.

A lot of people who should have less kids will then get a paper from the courthouse that says they are married and begin having more kids.

I fear you can't really stop people who shouldn't have kids from having them, but you can at least help middle class people by providing a non-refundable tax credit for the first 2 children or something. No taxes the year you have the kid. People could wipe out some debt, refinance mortgage, etc and be better situated to raise the kid effectively.

This is how America dies.

Not with a bang but with a whimper.

fwiw, iirc anything below 1.5 is considered an unrecoverable state. If anyone cares to do the research I'm sure you'll find a correlation between the governments war on Christianity and the decline of marriage and plummeting birth rates.

It seems society as a whole has decided that living a comfortable/exciting/materialistic lifestyle is better than raising a large family.

Pretty much. It is what it is.. People say its about money, but its really not. The poor reproduce at much higher rates than the wealthy.

Lifestyles changed when yuppies became a thing. People used to live in one neighborhood their entire lives, and developed community. Thats not happening today.

They have most of the fun, which is why they mainly remain poor.

What about a direct correlation between the cost of living and a declining birth rate? If the government wants to incentivize childbirth, then start doing it.

South Korea

Believes in a homogeneous society and also knows that AI, Automation, and Robotics are going to put a lot of folks out of work in the coming years. Meanwhile, here in the US we are going to have millions of low IQ 'Immigrants' out of work with no money and no way to support themselves. Its going to be a mess when this happens. We aren't going to need 'more' people we will actually need fewer.

Yea, people seemed to be more content living in rural/suburban areas back in the day. Now it is viewed as "poor" to live on the outskirts and filled with dumb rednecks (thanks hollywood). Living in a big city has become a huge focus now, with access to medical care, schools, stores, and "stuff". The small town died off when the corporation took over.

They are planning on rewarding you for desired behaviors through the coming social credit score. But that’s a few years off.

The entire nation became corporatized, with certain MegaCorps picking winners and losers.

Everything from our education to social programming is aimed at keeping you locked in the cubicle with the other cubicle dwellers.

With the cost to raise children, financially responsible people are having less.
