It's turned out pretty well overall. Crime in the entire country is trending downwards and the country is more wealthy than ever. The Drug War was most responsible for making US cities look like the purge, but those rates fell precipitously after 2000.

My family and I have property in Washington, Alabama, Florida, New York and Georgia. I've lived in all those places as well as Louisiana. I just think you want to know because you don't like that I'm pointing out some inconvenient facts and want to try discredit me based on where I live currently. Am I close?
