Make the forwarding address some random business across the pacific.
Do like the Chinese scammers and register their address as some historical landmark/location. It will register as a valid address in the computer network since places like that receive mail.

Go online to the USPSTF website. I think in the "receive mail" section you can fill out a form for deceased persons. There is a small charge ($5 or less) to prove it is a real request, but then USPS should stop processing mail for the person(s) listed and I believe return mail to the sender with it marked as deceased recipient.

In 2010, I lived in my grandparents home for about a year. My grandmother had passed in 2009. I lived there for a little over a year. At my current home I will get mail addressed to my grandfather at my address. He passed away in 1972.

I hope you applied for every credit card solicitation you received in their name.

How about, go to the post office and ask them how to handle it?
My wife passed away unexpectedly last year. I handled everything including probate. When the court closed probate, I walked into the Post Office and closed her accounts.
Now the mail is all mine.

I'm no expert but I'd imagine you need to talk to the post office.

Fill out another change of address but have that change of address listed as the address of the person you hate the most.
Why not change of address back to the original address if possible? Solves your problem and the new owners get their own mail back too.
Is that possible?

That’s probably a federal offense.
They are too busy trying to find who is stealing checks and gift cards out of envelopes in the sorting centers of the esteemed and reliable USPS to be worried about that.

Fill out another card and put the address of the post office.
