The only thing tackier than Vegas itself is a bachelor party in Vegas. What a waste of time.

My favorite trip is taking the 6am direct out of MSY on a Friday morning, then taking the 6pm home Sunday.

So I’ve got a little OE as I’ve done the Vegas bachelor party for a buddy of mine.
If you’ve never been to a Vegas stripclub, understand it’s like nothing you’ve ever experienced.
You know how the SAS, SEAL Team 6, and the Delta Force are the worlds best operators against terrorists and other bad guys that no one else can handle? So Vegas strippers are of the same caliber of separating you from your money. I don’t know how long we were there, but at one point one of the group had to push away titties to call a huddle to say “Guys we have got to get the frick out of here.”
We were older so instead of blowing money on bottle service at clubs we went somewhere every night and had a good dinner and a bottle of wine. Bobby Flays place in Ceasar’s was excellent.
I found Old Vegas on Fremont street to be underrated for gambling. Played craps at some of those places and did pretty well. Came home with the same amount of cash as i left with. Sports book at Ceasar’s is an awesome place.
There are a ton of places to shoot guns too.

quote:Yep. This was us when we went to Dubai. Every single club we tried to get into basically laughed us away when 5 guys tried to get in. Until we found some girls to get us in we had no chance
7 dudes will look retarded (and probably won’t get into the best night clubs) at a night club

After reading this thread, literally nothing about Vegas appeals to me.

Go to the pools during the day and clubs at night. Any pool at a larger resort is going to be banging this time of year, but pace yourself between drinks and heat (drink lots of water, almost to the point of forcing more down) or you will not make it out for dinner or the night clubs. Find a cheap fast food joint or buy some sandwich meat because meals are expensive AF. Even a simple hamburger and a beer tab will easily run you 50-60 after a tip at any sit down restaurant.
Don’t waste your time gambling when you can be at a pool or club. If you like to gamble do it in the early morning. Less likely to get caught up in the excitement and lose tons of money, limits are much lower on table games and not nearly as crowded. I would also wait until later in the week to even start gambling unless you have an endless supply of money. If you lose a lot early it will make for a crappy remainder of your trip.
Someone mentioned Spearmint strip club. It’s amazing, but not nearly what it was 20 years ago. A lot of the strippers that are old by Vegas standards, but still smoking hot by all other standards other than South Beach (think 23-28) actually end up there now. And if that’s your thing I highly recommend calling the strip club to ask about a shuttle service or asking cab drivers and bellmen for recommendations. A $20 tip to either can save you hundreds of dollars over the course of a week with free cover cards or free drink cards.
