Watches and cigars
Two of the most ridiculous obsessions.

“A watch says a lot about the man.” Yeah, like how much he’s willing to spend on a cute bracelet and how insecure he is with his image.

Grown men jerking themselves over watches like they’re the nerds in school jerking over magic the gathering cards.

And cigars. It never fails - “this is a smooth smoke! Really smooth!” It’s always smooth. Sit on your arse for 2 hours and slowly kill yourself with as much tobacco smoke exposure as you can handle. It’s “relaxing” because you’re poisoning your brain into a mild comatose you fricking morons. But it’s so smooth

Why do you care what a grown man chooses to do with his money?

I own and wear a Rolex every single day for no other reason than I like it and I enjoy it. I didn't buy it for anyone else.

If someone asks me about it, I am happy to talk about it, but that is RARE.

I’m going to assume that someone who wears a watch used to diddle you while smoking a cigar. You’ve got some serious issues caused by this.

Because it’s not you’re cup of tea doesn’t make it wrong. Art, music choices, architecture, SHOES, clothing, etc. We buy what we like, what piques our interests, not what solely serves a functional need.

I can see watches long before the cigars. Watch’s appreciate in value, from what I’ve read ,but cigars just stink.I can’t stand to be around anyone that is or has been smoking one.

Tell me you've never smoked a gar without telling me you've never smoked a gar.

You’ve obviously never owned a Submariner. It may be the world’s most iconic watch, wears great, doesn’t scream look at me, and if bought at retail will never lose its value. I have the Tudor GMT as well, and it’s a great value.

It’s a clock you strap to your wrist. You’re one degree of separation from this guy:
