Seriously?

I went to military school there back in the 60s and it was miserable place back then.

Bismarck, ND. State capital building, nice restaurants, friendly people, great museum.

Fargo is overrun with Sharia types. It’s like Mall of America West.

Hopefully Bismarck won’t become that.

I lived in south Tulsa for 6 years frim 2010-2015 and then another 3 years from 2018-2021. We liked Tulsa aka Green Country. There are a lot of parks, walking, hiking trails, festivals, etc. A lot of old oil money there. Billionaire George Kaiser gives hundreds of millions to the city for parks, the arts, etc. The Gathering Place park is a great place to let the kids play, ride bikes, have coffee, etc along the river.

having been to Salina multiple times would love to hear your defense.

It’s a quiet town just seems incredibly boring.

Overrun is an exaggeration. But my last few stays in Fargo felt nothing like my visits 15-20years ago. Totally different place.

I “had” to run in Walmart when we were there in April in a hotel (just a road trip stop), and I was pretty much the only white person I saw. It was Little Somalia.

Both places are completely overrated. Stay far away and don’t go there.

Any mid size or small town along the California central coast and just inland. Paso Robles for example.

There’s so many hidden gems.

Note for the politards, that’s also ranch and farm/wine country and the mindset is different than the big cities. Everyone is very friendly and the California laid back you like to see.

Underrated and overshadowed by Denver.
39th largest city in the U.S.
Higher than other cities on the Front Range, so dryer and more moderate climate.
Center-Right politics.
Pikes Peak and other front range mountains line the west side of the city.
Open spaces and parks everywhere.
Air Force Academy.
Decent food scene.
Olympic Training Center.
Access to Denver events without having to live there.
Nice suburbs with a variety of housing options.
