Delicious Donuts in LC seems to always be mentioned in Lagniappe’s “Best Of” edition. Would imagine it would be better than rouses.
I loved those king cakes when I was in LC but I also have pretty low standards for food…

We’re loyal to Gambino’s. Maybe not the best, but that’s what we always get. I do t really keep track of different king cakes though.

Kellner’s must be a Lafayette loyalist thing. First, it’s not a traditional king cake. Second, it’s not particularly good. Rouses king cake is better than Kellner’s.

Dong Phuong - New Orleans (east)
Traditional king cake is good & if it’s in front of me, I will eat & enjoy.
However, I have dreams about how good the dong phuong king cake. I would make myself fat if i wasn’t careful.
I could also get fat on the calandro’s king cake. I avoid that part of town every February, because I know I would buy & try to hide from my kids

How did you manage to quote the name and still get it wrong twice?
