public schools and we see that best with the declining academic performance
I went to Zachary schools when they were still a part of the EBR school system. Our test scores and academic performance were better under that system than the students under the independent Zachary system.
The academics started declining the minute that those schools lost all the EBR teachers who made those schools the highest performing in the Parish (only Baton Rouge High performed better) and had to replace them.

The same people who fought integration are still in charge, or the kids they raised on a diet of hatred are. We’ve had 50 years of white flight, leaving blacks w shitty schools
Wait...so are they in charge or did they leave?
These are contradictory claims

The Republican conservatives won't be able to control city government for long as the demographic shifts continue to happen.
Most suburban blacks lean Republican. Recent political events and issues are pushing more and more blacks and Hispanics towards the Republican party, away from the Democrats.
The loony left and the catering to them that the Democrats are doing is making the traditional voting base feel alienated and it's pissing them off.
Even black politicians are starting to feel the ire of their own kind.
The demographic that the suburbs needs to start worrying about and develop a plan to counteract them is the Suburban White Lady.
Bored House wives who feel guilty about providing nothing of value to society. They are the ones who create problems where none exist. They either become Karen's (I have a theory on how Karen's are created) or activists. (And don't try to claim that they provide value because they stay home to raise the kids. The mothers who are really doing that don't have time to get involved. They got responsibilities to take care of)
And people need to realize something: Trump is extremely popular within the black community. Hispanics are starting to warm up to him the same way that the Cubans do. Latin Americans love him after the Madura situation.
The only Hispanics that despise Trump are illegals.
And speaking of immigrants: all the hoopla about protecting immigrants only resonates with illegals. There's not a single legal immigrant who is anti-ICE. And the SJWs seem to think that only Mexican and Somali people are immigrants to America.
It's like they don't understand that we have immigrants from every country in the world and those immigrants came here legally and went through the process. Not a single one of those immigrants agrees with the Democratic party. 98% are Republican or plan to register Republican when they're allowed to do so.
Want to laugh? Go watch some videos of European or African immigrants who are legal confront and debate the protesters. They refuse to believe a white man with a heavy accent is an immigrant, and came here legally. It warms the cockles of your heart to see a real lover of this country school an insufferable, privileged a-hole on why he's an a-hole.

As the black population increases so does crime, violence, decreasing of home prices, and the decreasing status of public schools.
The entire US residential real estate market is based on how far can I live away from blacks and still be decently close to centers if activity.

Can’t stand the thought of little Johnny going to school with black kids? Then move away. That’s what happened in Baker,
Thanks for pointing out that when there are no more white people left, everything turns to shite.

We always went to school with black kids. Used to be bussed in from Scotlandville back in the 90s. That just increased the number.
Even if that didn't happen, we always went to school with the black kids from Zachary. We had a higher percentage of black students than most non inner-city EBR schools.
Hell, when I first signed up for little league in the mid 80s, the rednecks running the league saw my name and said "That's gotta be a black boy. Put him on the Avenues." I was the only white kid on an all black team.
Ended up playing on that team for the next 6 or 7 years.
Race wasn't a problem for us. If someone didn't want to go to school with blacks, they went to Silliman.

Sadly, no matter how successful you are, whitey will never accept you as an equal.
It's honestly not your fault. You've been raised and nurtured to believe that the white man does everything to keep you under thumb make sure you continue to feel inferior.
It's hard to think critically and challenge these notions when to do so, you would have to recognize and admit that the narrative you've been sold your entire life was a complete lie.

Yeah, I started first grade in 1973 at Park Ridge in Baker, and attended integrated public schools in EBRP thru law school. White flight began in earnest, to Central and Livingston Parish. In ‘83 they shut Scotlandville High down, and sent half of the kids to Baker, the other half were supposed to go the Central but they pulled strings to dodge it, so the kids went to Glen Oaks/Belaire/Tara and Broadmoor. I don’t remember a single black kid on Central’s football team, and Denham had one who never saw the field. We beat the dogshit out of both those teams. Lol

In charge of politics.
My dad is 81, graduated HS ‘62 and LSU ‘66, and never went to school w a black person, until law school in the early 70s, and that was maybe 1 or 2 guys. He is pretty liberal, but his age cohort fought integration tooth and nail and still occupy positions of power, including the presidency.
