Northshore Beach in Slidell off Carr Drive. Used to hang there in high school every now and then.

Sadly St. Petersburg. Beach and water were beautiful but we went while they had red tide. Had globs of dead fish every where

Red tide events here are pretty rare but the one you’re probably referring to was really awful. I felt terrible for the folks like you who had the bad luck to have planned their vacation when that hit.

Virginia Beach. We lived on the beach, and I barely remember the sun out, unless it was cold as shite. It was a dumpy apartment block, filled with roaches, and all I smelt was shite rotting on the beach, combined with the fish market nearby. It's why I don't eat seafood to this day, and despise the sand, the beach, and seaweed. What about the worst international beach? My vote is Marseille, rocky as hell.

If these are the worst, I’d honestly love to see your list of the best beaches you’ve visited. VB might not top any list, but it definitely doesn’t belong near the bottom.

Neo Beach (IYNYK) was pretty bad if you wanted to go to work the next day or two. Place was brutal on the senses.

Years ago, a friend decided he's show off his very hot gf by taking her to Hippie Hollow.

His report back: Bunch of dudes playing with themselves or other dudes, a few unattractive women. He had a bit of the showoff exhibitionist (for her and other gf's) but this seemed to cure him.

Grand Isle is pretty nasty like walking on mud.

Well, it is the shell capital of the world. I spent my 21st birthday chilling under the light houses. A old friends husband was the light house keeper.

It's not perfect, but Grand Isle has come a long way.

As far as swimming goes, it would have to be Holly Beach in Cameron Parish.

not necessarily the worst, but the beach on Santorini wasn't all that...better sand in Orange Beach and clearer water in the Maldives and Bahamas...

As a proud Georgian, this state often loves to pride itself as stretching from the mountains to the beaches.

Don’t get me wrong, that is geographically super cool, but Georgia has beaches in the same sense that a hotel would technically have a bidet if they hired some guy to lie on the bathroom floor and spit up your a-hole.

Georgia beaches blow.

Absolutely true. Everyone should avoid them. Nothing to see there.

Atlantic City was pretty nasty, and the beach wasn't much better.
